Perfume packaging

I am not sure I like the " heads"- i believe they could be more friendly and have a more antique feel but  I love the idea of packaging and connecting them to writers. I wonder what they could smell like ? Surely ORWELL is not really favourable for smelling flowers )))

Recently I have been doing some research for a rebranding project and I've been looking for inspiration in illustrations, rather than photography, as I used to do  before.   I've found amazingly beautiful posters by modern and old graphic illustrators. Svpply

I love this website - svpply.com. People find amazing and original things in the internet and publish them out there. And somehow all the people that are members of svpply know what kind of things are in the format of the website. And what is great about it is that you add things with just one click on the svpply button on you bookmarks bar . You dont have to switch to their website or embed in a post. So easy.
I have my collection there as well. These are mostly things that I have seen on svpply added by other people. The tool is mostly for buying purpose because it gives a direct link to the online shop, but so far I havent bought anything from my collection . Its mostly US websites and ordering through internet is still a Big Thing for me ))

Movie.

The idea of making a fashion show styled as if it is a hotel lobby with all the secret things going on behind the doors is fantastic . And combined with the elevators bringing the models on a square podium with that powerful music makes it impressive.
But I automatically remembered the other show that made even more splash in the fashion scene, the Tom Ford's exclusive show. People were saying that that is the future, that Ford is so innovative and that is so -genial-. And i fully agree and I loved the idea.
But then again I see the LV f11/12 the excitement of seeing a great show fills me. The grandiosity, aplomb, loudness- that impresses.
But what do you stand for ? shows like Tom Ford's or LV?

8th of March is an International Women's day. But it seems to me that its truly celebrated only in Russia. In France, for example, it is mentioned (!), like as if it was a name day of Colette or any other cute little french name.
In Russia 8th of March is a not working day, celebrated from 1966, memorising the strike of women in St Petersburg of 1917 which caused the beginning of "February revolution". And it is, by the way, mostly named 8th of March rather than International Women's day. So in most of the times women are congratulated by  "Happy 8th of March!".
8th of march is taken seriously.
Men feel due to equalize as on the 23 of February they most probably received various congratulations and presents for Defender of Motherland Day (or simply Men's Day as any man is expected to defend if needed).
Two weeks before the holiday male students club together to by flowers for their fellow female students and teachers,   one week before kids at school start drawing number 8 decorated with flowers for their grandmothers and mothers and  other female relatives, a day before men buy flowers and hide them in the wardrobe to be presented in the morning. The flower-shops are full of tulips and although it might be around minus 5 outside and snow around , it feels like it is spring in Russia. And I think it is nice.
I ve also been congratulated/and congratulating  this morning (by) my family and by President Medvedev from his twitter, who wished Russian women spring's warmth and good mood (two always missing things for those who live in Russia :)))
