Lunch in Cannes

If you were in Cannes and still hungry, and then there's one place that you have to visit to solve the second problem.
I do not often share my addresses as I still want to have a free table for myself  out there but since my blog is read by friends, I'll be more generous with advice.
So the first advice throughout the whole blog is:
Lunch "not on the beach" in Cannes that is worth being not on the beach.
Da Laura is a small italian restaurand on the 2 parallel street to Croisette in Cannes. You would not stumble upon it unless you go to Galerie Lafayette (which is not worth going to in Cannes).
So the lunch place has an authentic italian cuisine. They serve a little snack with pecorino, salami and bread sticks before you even order that whets the appetite even more. The menu is in italian but easy to understand as it is food language... tomatoes with bufala or burata, carpaccio, fresh raviolis, gnoccis, fresh pasta and don't forget to leave space for homemade desserts  that arrive on a big plateau for you to choose one.  The food is as good as in a recommended family resto in Italy. And Laura, the owner is always beautiful with her red lipstick and welcoming the guests with her smile.
